Born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Marcy A. Kain obtained a BA (with distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1998, where she also received her LLB in 2001. She returned to Lethbridge to commence her legal practice and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2002. From that time, Marcy has focused her legal practice in the area of personal injury litigation and has obtained litigation experience at all levels of Court in Alberta.
Outside of the office, Marcy Kain enjoys travel, hiking, skiing, camping, tennis, road cycling, mountain biking, and 'zen' time in the kitchen. In 2010, Marcy Kain won a bucket-list 'lottery' entry to participate in the 30th Escape From Alcatraz triathlon in San Franscisco, where she successfully 'escaped the rock'. In addition to that event, she has participated in numerous local running events, triathlons, and completed her first Spartan obstacle course race in Montana in 2019.
